Tired

Been busy with Easter, painting kitchen and trimming the jungle in the backyard. We also had a major ant war in the driveway. My son was so fascinated. Good thing I am not scared of bugs, worms and frogs because I know soon he will be bringing them to me to show what he found!

I have been working on designs and ideas any change I get. I love walking. Try to walk 5 miles a day. It has helped me so much and doesn't cost a thing, plus it is FUN!

Ants

I like ants. Always have. Love watching them build their mounds. At my current residence there are a massive amount of ants and every so often different colonies have battles. Hundreds of ants on the sidewalk duking it out. I step around them so I don't squish them. My dog goes crazy and barks at them. It is quite a site!

Mathematics

I am not a mathematician by any means but I find it fascinating that you can break down the universe to numbers and formulas. I don't think my brain is wired for that ability, would be nice though!

I so want to make my own radiometer!  I have a book of small experiments and it has instructions for one in it.  I am definitely going to construct it!

Underground continued...

I didn't finish watching the end of Journey to the Center of the Earth on the History Channel, forgot to hit record.  One part was about a salt mine in Germany where they hold a marathon underground.  I hope to run a marathon in my life but don't think I would like to in a salt mine.  They said if you fall you get hurt, bad.  It is hot, dry and dark with inclines and declines.  Got to have guts for that!!!

I was watching a show on the History Channel about what is under the earths crust to the center of the earth and found it fascinating that life could live in such extremes, like microbes living on sulfur in zero oxygen water.
